Last gig at Mesteren & Laerlingen was completely crazy! People were dancing everywhere, non stop for five hours! I’m really looking forward to get back to this rockin’ joint in Copenhagen! As usual I’m gonna share the decks with my fabulous partner in crime – DJ Morticia. She’s bringing some new stuff in her ruby red beauty box full of wild gals from 50s & 60s! Can’t wait!
Looking forward to my DJ set at Honky Tonk & Rye in South of Sweden in September 12. Last time I met Big Sandy was at Surfer Joe in Livorno, Italy, where he was playing with Los Straitjackets. It’s gonna be great to catch up again! I’m sharing the decks with the fabulous DJ Morticia and she’s bringing a record box full of wild wild women! Tiki Pete and Bakersfield Emil will put you in the right mood for sure, warming up for the bands with a slab of wax!
Coming up is another great rock’n’roll weekender, Live & Jive #23 in Katrineholm, February 27-28. Some great bands and a bunch of cool people from all over. Dj Undertaker’s special mix of wild desperate tunes and killer jivers and Morticias fabulous selection of the world’s best female fronted vintage rock’n’roll will keep you hot all weekend! Thanks to Henrik Forss and his lovely wife Korena for bringing us this great event all the way from sunny California!

Got the honour of playing the first day of the yearly festival in my hometown Malmö, a free seven-day party in the streets of this city of crime, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and a huge white twisted cock that people live in….
Anyway, on stage I got some real nice company from dancers from Cat’s Corner…
…and models showing retro delights from Flique i Underjorden, producers of this retro event.
And THIS is what got their hips shaking….
Just confirmed one of the coolest gigs in Malmö this year. For the third year in a row our own Darren “Trashman” Ward presents Jiving Jamboree at Debaser Malmö on June 1st.
Live International Bands, DJ’s, Dance Class, Car Show, Burlesque Revue, Vintage Market, indoor and outdoor stages.
