Looking forward to my DJ set at Honky Tonk & Rye in South of Sweden in September 12. Last time I met Big Sandy was at Surfer Joe in Livorno, Italy, where he was playing with Los Straitjackets. It’s gonna be great to catch up again! I’m sharing the decks with the fabulous DJ Morticia and she’s bringing a record box full of wild wild women! Last time I had a ball together with Los Straitjackets was in Livorno, where I had the opportunity to share some 45’s with the band before their concert. This is what it looked like then.

A few tacos,tequilas and Ted Taylor tunes later Los Straitjackets and Big Sandy are off again, performing one of the tighest shows ever performed on a dark Tuscan hill somewhere in the suburbs of Livorno…

…when Danny Amis from Los Straitjackets turned up trying to scare me dead and run off with my 45’s…
…but that didn’t work so they sent out Big Sandy to charm them off me instead…
….as if they need any 45’s! Now these bunch of guitar wrestlers can make some goddamn hot twangs themselves!!!
Packing for a trip to Livorno, Italy, for a gig on Saturday at the hottest surfer bar in the country, Surfer Joe’s Diner. Special guests at the diner will be Los Straitjackets, surf rockers from Nashville, playing later that evening at The Cage Theater. Ok muchachos, join us at this Italian surfer’s paradise and you will not regret it…
