Getting ready for a real groovy event on May 11, Las Hultsfreed Grind, a strictly instrumental party with rockin’ acts, wild dj’s with only instrumental vinyl 45’s, burlesque dancing, exhibitions of tiki, dinner with fez, suits and dresses.
In other words…The Big Twang!

It will be held at Hotell Hulingen, Hultsfred, Sweden.
On stage: Mike Barbwire & The Blue Ocean Orchestra with support:The Riotous

Doctor Rock and I will be playing only instrumental vinyl 45’s of screamin’ rock ‘n’ roll, rockabilly, surf terror, jungle exotica and wild rhythm ‘n’ blues shakers..

And this one just might end up on my turntable that special twangy night…

Strait jackets and 45’s in Livorno

Just another Saturday night under a cool Italian February sky… DjUndertaker spins some wicked stuff when a starving band walks into Surfer Joe’s diner. A few tacos,tequilas and Ted Taylor tunes later Los Straitjackets and Big Sandy are off again, performing one of the tighest shows ever performed on a dark Tuscan hill somewhere in the suburbs of Livorno…

If you weren’t there, your loss.

Now I was spinning peacefully at Surfer Joe’s…

…when Danny Amis from Los Straitjackets turned up trying to scare me dead and run off with my 45’s…

…but that didn’t work so they sent out Big Sandy to charm them off me instead…

….as if they need any 45’s! Now these bunch of guitar wrestlers can make some goddamn hot twangs themselves!!!

Surfing Italy!

Packing for a trip to Livorno, Italy, for a gig on Saturday at the hottest surfer bar in the country, Surfer Joe’s Diner. Special guests at the diner will be Los Straitjackets, surf rockers from Nashville, playing later that evening at The Cage Theater. Ok muchachos, join us at this Italian surfer’s paradise and you will not regret it…
