Just another Saturday night under a cool Italian February sky… DjUndertaker spins some wicked stuff when a starving band walks into Surfer Joe’s diner. A few tacos, tequilas and Ted Taylor tunes later Los Straitjackets and Big Sandy are off again, performing one of the tighest shows ever performed on a dark Tuscan hill somewhere in the suburbs of Livorno…
If you weren’t there, your loss.
Packing for a trip to Livorno, Italy, for a gig on Saturday at the hottest surfer bar in the country, Surfer Joe’s Diner. Special guests at the diner will be Los Straitjackets, surf rockers from Nashville, playing later that evening at The Cage Theater. Ok muchachos, join us at this Italian surfer’s paradise and you will not regret it…
Until then, I’ll give you a little teaser:
Teamed up with this smokin hot artist J Tex from Denmark on Saturday’s event at Hep Cat Store. If you by any chance missed out on this special occasion, check out his music here. See you rock’n’roll addicts at the next Hep Cat event on March 3…
On request I had a little fun making a playlist for some friends at Stockholm’s coolest retro store, Sivletto. This is my special treat for all you sinners hiding from the cold winter storms…
…or a total of $1,100 for 2.44 min. That’s what you’d have to sneeze out of your wallet to lay your hands on this sweet Lemon Lime by The Tempests on ebay right now.
Worth it?
Definitely, if you ask me. Listen and see if you agree…
….like Alex the man, cool cat from Kincardine, Ontario (would love to live there just for the sound of that name…) who sure knows how to handle a DjUndertaker hat. Jealous? Get your own at Hep Cat store
I could hardly Bell-ieve it, but yes, the mailman brought me this piece of candy straight from France the other day after a tough ebay battle…
Proud owner of ‘Swamp Gal’ from 1959 by Mississippi born Tommy Bell. Also heard as a brilliant cover made by Swedish garage rock band The Nomads in 1988.
Will be seeing you all in Hultsfred again – just confirmed I will be spinning some wicked tunes at this year’s Hultsfreed Hayride, 28-29 of June. Already some cool acts booked!
Until then – check out some pics from last years great Hultsfreed gig:
