Excited to go, but sad to say: after 13 years of savage rocking Hultsfreed Hayride is about to blast off for one last time. Devastating news, but the man behind this successful festival, Nisse Johansson, is of course right: “Better to quit while you’re peaking.” So let’s party at Hultsfred, one last time. Let’s make sure we’ll have the best crowd ever, the wildest tunes ever heard and a line-up sharp as a razor blade. It’s gonna be a hell of a hayride!
Dead Elvis & His One Man Grave will be back in Malmö at the Grave Cave to record a new record with Thee Gravemen in October and will perform 3 shows together in Denmark and Sweden.
Dead Elvis & His One Man Grave will be headlining each show and Thee Gravemen will be supporting.
On October 25 I will join them and spin some real scary tunes at the Vinyl Bar (The Tivoli) in Helsingborg. Let’s rock those poor damned souls out of their graves!
Playing for three smokin hot hours behind the decks at Tiki Garden, Surfer Joe festival in Livorno tonight Sun 22 June at 18.30. Great rockin festival so far. Don’t miss out folks!
AAAAAAND……finally it’s time for the one and only BIG yearly event at Hep Cat store! Special guests, live music, and barbecue – they provide the meat, the heat and the chef to flip those burgers. I’m gonna flip some mean tunes and Thee Gravemen, Leadfoot Tea and J Tex will surely make the stage glow. See ya!
A real hot rocking’ weekend coming up.
Warming up for The Nomads with Peter “Mighty Pete” Thulin tonight
And Saturday 10th of May will be the night of the maddest instro rock’n’roll, surf, twang party ever, with The Intruders and others….The Big Twang!
Be in Hultsfred….or miss it, folks.
Honey, where’s that fez of mine?
Dj Undertaker goes north to make the Capital shake, rattle and roll like an Easter bunny after ten steady Tiki drinks…so get them legs moving down to Birkagatan 10 and get ready for a Loooong Friday (with a warm up on Thursday as a special guest to magic master Doctor Pete). As an additional Easter egg (and a bit of Stockholm nostalgia) the one and only, beast and beautiful, bold and brave Big Jeff will be joining me as a surprise guest juuuuust for you…
Hell of a party coming up this weekend and it’s gonna be one of those loooooong sets where you just keep on playing til you drop.
Grease, tease and some wicked cars all mixed up with great rock’n’roll and smokin barbecues.
If you missed this party at a junkyard in Sweden, here’s a little teaser of what it looked like a few years ago. Made by film maker Dan Andersson.
The best thing about vacation is when you know that your mailbox is waiting for you to get home and find some amazing tunes.
Until I get to break into the mailbox (after to smokin hot weeks in southern Italy), I’ll share with you the two gems I recently laid my hands on.
First you get the fantastic “Nancy Lynne” (oh, that hand clapping…) by Dick D’Agostin, mostly known for touring with Eddie Cochran.
And last but not least…straight from Phoenix Arizona is Rusty Isabell with his piano rock’n’roll instro attack “Firewater” (which you probably are sipping right now in the hot summer evening). Cheers!
